What is "Refreshing" a car versus "Restoring" a car ? Basically, a
car restoration means taking the body off the frame, if the car has a
frame or if a unibody auto, removing as much as possible to strip the
car to its basic components to complete the auto restoration.. A "Refresh" is doing mechanical work to
get it road ready as a driver and also doing cosmetic work.
A big mistake amateur auto restorers make is not knowing their limits
and trying to do things that are best left to a professional. No one can do it
all; we can do most of the work on your car restoration, but we know our limits.
Whether you need a single part powder coated or an entire assembly restored/repaired, call us, we can do it. Powder coating is our primary business.
We can build/fabricate parts as needed. Wood body parts and wooden
dashboards are no problem; steel brackets can be fabricated with our
press brake and/or welded.
What makes us different from other shops? Large auto restoration shops do
good work, but so do small shops, like ours. And we only work on one
car at a time, so your car is our only priority.
Don't know where to send parts out to be refurbished? We do! We have
been doing auto restorations for decades and if we can't do the work
we have the contacts to get things finished correctly: we know the shops to
avoid and the shops to send your precious parts to.
